The cost of a coupon is $5.00 and can be used to purchase a pair of shoes at Shoe Carnival that are valued at up to $40.00. You may purchase one shoe coupon per child. You can obtain a voucher from Voluntary Action Center, your school counselor or principal or other social agencies you might work with. Referrals to The Wardrobe expire after one year.
You will need to bring an ID with you when you purchase the coupons and we take cash only. You must have a current referral on file to purchase shoe coupons. Shoe Coupons can be purchased any Tuesday from 11:00-2:30. Donations of money and all profits from sales are used to fund this program. One coupon per child can be purchased every six months on Tuesdays at The Wardrobe. This coupon can then be used for $40.00 towards a pair of shoes at Shoe Carnival. The parent/guardian of the child can purchase a shoe coupon for $5.00. Eligible children must be in public school, grades K-12 and have a referral to The Wardrobe. The main project of The Wardrobe is to help buy new shoes for school children in Boone County.
